Daivd livingstone- he was the greatest African explorer in 1841- 1873. He was also the firat non African to cross Africa. He also discovered Victoria Falls in 1855, and he either went missing or died in 1871.
Henry Stanley- he was hired to go find David Livingstone after he went missing in 1871. Stanley and Livingstone opened the door for European Colonization of Africa.
Ferdinand De Lesseps- he was the French builder of the Suez Canal. He said the canal will open the world to people.
Menelik II- he was the Ethiopian Emperor in 1896 and in the battle of Adowa he defeated invading Italians.
Cecil Rhodes- he was the British Prime Minister of Cape Colony. He planned to build railroads in Cape to Cairo.
